The Complete Design Process
Discovery
Before we design the room, we understand the person.
How will you use the space? Who will you invite into it? How do you entertain? What environments are you naturally drawn to? What should the room feel like when you walk through the door?
Through conversation, site evaluation, inspiration, and observation, we begin defining what this particular room needs to become.
Design Thesis
Every room needs an idea.
Before individual products or finishes are selected, we develop a clear design thesis for the space.
It defines the room's purpose, character, atmosphere, and overall direction — creating a standard against which every later design decision can be measured.
If something doesn't serve the thesis, it doesn't belong in the room.

Complete Design for Smoking Rooms
Beauty and performance aren't separate problems.
When Complete Design is commissioned for a smoking room, the full Performance Design process is incorporated into the project.
Airflow, exhaust, makeup air, cooling, filtration, containment, room layout, materials, furnishings, and interior design are developed in conjunction rather than treated as separate systems.
